July 29: Typical summer heat with slight storm chances

Local 10 News logo Local 10 News

While the rest of Florida is under heat alerts, we are getting more typical heat with highs in the low 90s and a heat index in the low 100s. This is only slightly above average because of our breeze off the Atlantic.

The only difference in the forecast today will be a slightly higher chance of running into a few random pop up storms. Many will stay dry. This will be the case all week without any major storm systems on the way.
