We’re stuck with another Heat Advisory today with a heat index over 105° at times. The difference with the heat this week is that it won’t last as long each afternoon with much higher rain chances. Expect afternoon storms to fire up a lot closer to the metro than what we’ve been used to. Some storms could contain very heavy rain, frequent lightning and gusty winds.
Tropical moisture continues to increase this week and storms will become more numerous in the afternoons into the weekend. I expect some improvement to the severe drought that continues for South Florida.
