Our 7-day streak of heat advisories ended as widespread showers and thunderstorms will keep temperatures down compared to earlier this week. It will not be a continuous rain, but expect rounds of thunderstorms with breaks in between. Some neighborhoods that see repeated rounds of rain could pick up 2-4” while others are drier. A few storms could even be strong with frequent lightning and gusty winds. This pattern will last into the weekend. We won’t see lower rain chances move in until Monday.
