Little change is expected in our weather through tomorrow with more showers and storms around due to a slow moving disturbance still just to the east of South Florida. This system is drifting west and we won’t get on the other side of this until later in the weekend. Localized street flooding is possible near some of the heavier downpours the next couple of days, so be careful driving around if you’re near one of these stronger cells. The clouds and frequent showers will keep our highs around 90 with no heat advisories anticipated. High pressure and some drier air is expected to arrive, bringing those rain and storm chances down by Monday. We’re watching a couple of systems in the tropics but none are a threat to SoFlo or the U.S. There are indications that there’ll be a tropical concern closer to home in about 10 days. We’ll keep you posted!
