The rich tropical moisture we had around for the weekend that gave us widespread thunderstorms has moved west and we are already noticing the difference. Fewer showers and thunderstorms are expected today and much of this week -- just occasional speedy thunderstorms off the Atlantic with much of the day staying dry. After a 4-day streak of highs in the 80s, our more typical low 90s returns with the lower rain chances. Expect the heat index to reach 100-105° at times.
