It’s a cloudy, gloomy day with occasional rain moving through the area. Some downpours could be heavy enough to produce minor flooding. They will be popping up completely randomly, so there’s no way to be specific on the timing. Some of these storms will persist overnight with frequent lightning and loud thunder.
Tomorrow will be a similar day. It may not rain the entire day, but expect a gloomy sky and rounds of downpours. By the weekend, some drier air in the mid levels of the atmosphere will give us more sunshine and lead to spotty showers and thunderstorms. This cuts our rain chance in half.
