The big story in weather this weekend is the dangerous conditions at the beaches. Stay out of the water, with a very high risk of rip currents. If you live along the coast, you can also expect some minor coastal flooding during times of high tide.

High pressure to our north is being squeezed by low pressure over the Bahamas, allowing for gusty east winds at the beaches. This disturbance over the Bahamas will also trigger some showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday, so be on the lookout for that as well.

The good news — there will be some sunny breaks out there, so a washout isn’t expected either day.
