Oct. 10: Showers drench South Florida ahead of weekend cooldown

Showers and thunderstorms are more widespread on Friday, especially in the Florida Keys.

Some rain could come down heavy enough to cause minor flooding, especially since we have been in high tide early this afternoon. This rain will be scattered into tonight.

Saturday will be a transition day with the first fall front of the season moving into South Florida.

We will still have some spotty showers around, although a lot less than today, and it will be slightly humid. By Sunday, you’ll notice the drop in humidity and it will stick around all next week. We also get a big chance to dry out with the rain chance next to nothing from Sunday for at least several days.
