DORAL, Fla. — Some South Florida residents cast their ballots on Sunday in an election taking place thousands of miles away.
The ballots were cast for the upcoming primary elections for Venezuela.
The ballots were filled out on the Miami-Dade College West Campus in Doral.
This election is critical because voters will ultimately decide who will challenge Nicolas Maduro in 2024.
