TAMARAC, Fla. — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit have located 70-year-old Pierre Andre Laurent.

Authorities said Laurent was located safe and has since been reunited with family.

A BSO missing persons alert was issued on Wednesday after Laurent was last seen near the 2900 block of Northwest 48th Street in Tamarac.

Detectives have not said what led to his disappearance.
