Multiple people were shot Saturday in the area of Brown University, police said, as the school issued an active shooter alert and urged students and staff to take shelter during the second day of final exams.

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit say 49-year-old Andnesio Howard was safely located.

According to authorities, Andnesio Howard was last seen around 11 p.m. on Feb. 11 in the 5000 block of Northwest 41st Street in Lauderdale Lakes.

He has since been reunited with family.

Detectives have not said what led to his disappearance.
