October 22: Tolerable humidity and a stronger breeze to come

The weather remains mostly dry for South Florida Wednesday evening. Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect gentle, east-northeast winds through the night and low temperatures in the mid-70s.

The rain chance remains low on Thursday, even as a cold front approaches. The day will feature tolerable humidity, sunshine and scattered clouds. Temperatures are forecast to reach the mid and upper 80s.

The “passage” of the cold front will spur a “building,” northeast breeze. Generally, winds on Thursday will be sustained 10 to 15 mph, gusts to 20 mph. By Friday, winds are forecast to gust to 30 mph.
