The man reported that he welcomed “Delilah” into his apartment -- only to find out that she had engaged him for prostitution -- and he would go on to meet a 27-year-old man’s heavy punch, according to police.

The man claimed “Delilah,” whom police officers later identified as Gracie David, “started talking ... about money in exchange for sexual acts,” and “he did not agree with this,” so he asked her to leave his apartment, according to the police arrest report.

The man said he walked David, 21, to the elevator and got suspicious when he saw her texting someone, so he was recording cell phone video when the elevator door opened to Dayleon Murray, according to police.

Murray, 27, “started to attack ... punching him in the face” so he “started screaming for help,” and the man who rushed to his aid was also a victim, according to the police arrest report.

The man said Murray took his cell phone and left with David down the stairs, according to police.

Miami Beach police officers reported responding to a 911 call at 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday at the Blackstone Apartments, at 800 Washington Ave.

The police officers described the man’s injuries as an “hematoma to the left cheekbone area and a laceration to the mouth,” according to the arrest report.

After police officers detained Murray outside of the building, David approached an officer to say, “Is my boyfriend okay? The one in handcuffs,” and a police officer detained her too, according to the arrest report.

Miami Beach police officers questioned David and arrested her shortly before 10:10 a.m.

Miami-Dade corrections booked Murray shortly after 3:45 p.m. and David at 3:50 p.m. at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to inmate records.

Murray and David each faced a charge of strong-armed robbery, and Murray also faced a battery charge. David’s bond was $5,000, and Murray’s was $8,500.
