MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 19-year-old was arrested Sunday after he shot at a group of juveniles in Miami Beach, injuring one of them, authorities said.
The shooting was reported around 3 a.m. Sunday in the 4800 block of the boardwalk.

According to the suspect’s arrest report, the victims were heading to the Grand Beach Hotel on Collins Avenue as the suspect, Bryan Rodriguez, and his friends were leaving the hotel.
As the two groups passed each other, a female who was with Rodriguez looked at the victims with a “stank face,” they told detectives.
Police said the victims laughed it off and kept walking, but the female began to shout obscenities at them.
According to the report, the victims then heard the sound of gunshots and saw Rodriguez holding a black handgun and pointing it at them.
Police said Rodriguez, who is from Miami Lakes, shot one of the victims in the leg as the group was running away.
One of the victim’s friends then called 911 and Rodriguez fled the scene, authorities said.
Police said a Be on the Lookout (BOLO) was issued and Rodriguez was pulled over in a gray 2015 Infiniti.
According to the arrest report, a live round was found in his left front pocket and two of the victims identified him as the person who shot at them.
Police said the victim who was shot in the right calf muscle was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center to be treated for his injury.
Rodriguez declined to be interviewed by a detective and requested an attorney, the report stated.
He faces charges of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a minor.
As of Monday morning, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
