MIAMI – Police are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian Wednesday morning in Miami.
The crash was reported in the area of Southwest 12th Avenue and Third Street.

Sky 10 was above the scene shortly before 6:30 a.m. as a white pickup truck remained at the scene and police were blocking the roadway.
According to City of Miami Fire Rescue Lt. Pete Sanchez, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and has been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital. His or her condition has not yet been released.
The cause of the crash remains unclear.
