Multiple people were shot Saturday in the area of Brown University, police said, as the school issued an active shooter alert and urged students and staff to take shelter during the second day of final exams.

Deputies ask the public for help with finding three-year-old Rakim Akbar who vanished in the Orlando area. (Courtesy photo)

Orlando County Sheriff’s Office deputies asked the public for help with finding 3-year-old Rakim “Tuda” Akbari who vanished on Thursday.

Rakim, who was diagnosed with autism, walked away from a resort along Palm Village Circle, near State Road 535 and World Center Drive.

Rakim was last seen wearing white, green, and red pajama pants and a maroon shirt. He is about 2 feet tall and weighs some 45 pounds.

Deputies asked anyone with information about Rakim’s whereabouts to call 911.
