MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Miami Gardens police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon.
According to authorities, an off-duty officer notified dispatch at about 4:45 p.m. about a shooting that occurred at the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and 195th Street.
Police said officers arrived at the scene and found a vehicle whose front passenger-side window had been shot.
Police confirmed that the driver and passenger were not injured.
A motive for the shooting is unclear.
Police said the suspect fled the scene, heading north in a dark-colored vehicle.
