MIAMI — A police officer arrested a 30-year-old man in Miami’s Brickell area who was drinking from a bottle of vodka when he threatened a drive-by shooting, records show.

According to an arrest report, Steven Hall refused to follow a Miami police officer’s orders and shouted threats early Sunday morning.

“If you try to arrest me, I will come back and do a drive-by on your ass. I am coming back with a gun and I will shoot your ass,” Hall told the police officer, according to the arrest report.

A police officer arrested Hall at about 3:30 a.m., on Sunday, at South Miami Avenue and Southeast Seventh Street, according to the arrest report.

Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office correctional deputies booked Hall on Sunday and he was at the Pre-Trial Detention Center after appearing in court on Monday, records show.

Hall faced charges of threatening to harm a public servant with the intent to influence their performance, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest without violence, and drinking an alcoholic beverage in public.
