BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — A woman was stabbed early Tuesday morning in North Broward, the Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
According to BSO, the stabbing was reported shortly before 4 a.m. near the 3800 block of North Powerline Road.
Deputies arrived at the scene and found a woman suffering from a stab wound.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel transported her to a local hospital with injuries listed as non-life-threatening.
According to BSO, detectives determined that the stabbing “was a domestic incident,” and that the woman had been stabbed by a man before he fled the scene in a vehicle.
Deputies did not immediately announce any arrests.
BSO Special Victims Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
