It all happened early Friday morning.

Miami-Dade sheriff’s detectives identified the victim as Elijah Quintero.

In newly obtained video footage, a man can be seen holding a gun, turning around and running back to a house.

Moments later, three people come back out of the house. They all appear to be trying to find a spent shell casing, to possibly clean-up evidence from that shooting scene.

Detectives say the two men and the woman charged in the case left Quintero hurt on the street, screaming in pain.

First responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital.

One of his friends told Local 10 News he didn’t deserve this.

“He was a good guy in general, he would help the old ladies,” said friend Isiah. “Me and him used to do cleaning services together.”

When Quintero arrived at the hospital, doctors listed his condition as critical, saying he may become paraplegic.

Deputies who are working the case said they believe 20-year-old Napoleon Bryant is the gunman.

Deputies say the three people, including Bryant, are responsible for that shooting.

All three of them, faced a judge Saturday.

Jesus Aguilar and Tazaria Miller were charged as co-conspirators, meaning they also participated in the crime, in one way or another.

“It is disturbing, and it makes me want to pay more attention to where my kids are going and what they are doing who they are hanging around,” said neighbor Tyrone Payne.

Bryant is being held on no bond. Aguilar was released from jail after he posted bond, while Miller remained behind bars as of Sunday morning.

They have been ordered not to have any contact with that 16-year-old.
