WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — An incident between fans at a recent Miami Marlins game has gone viral.
Philadelphia Phillies fan Andrew Feltwell, who lives with his family in West Palm Beach, caught a home run ball off the bat of Harrison Bader during Friday’s game at loanDepot park.

As a diehard sports family, they were elated to catch their very first ball.
“They love going to games,” Feltwell said.
It was a perfect gift for his son Lincoln, as they were there celebrating his 9th birthday.
“I’m in the moment I’m hugging my son,” Feltwell said.
Moments later, another Phillies fan stomped over to the Feltwell family, startling them.
In the video, the woman is seen screaming at Feltwell, who was still hugging his son, claiming that the ball was hers.
“I just want her to go away and that’s how we got her to go away,” he said.
She stormed away after he handed her the ball.
Not only was it all caught by fans on their cell phones, but the game’s television broadcast also showed what went down.
“I didn’t really understand it in that specific moment,” said Lincoln.
In a twist of fate, the Feltwell family said kids from around the stadium started walking over to them, handing them their baseballs.
Then, a Miami Marlins employee also walked over with a bag full of swag for Lincoln.
After the game came the biggest surprise of all, when Bader himself invited the family down below the stands, where he signed a bat for Lincoln.
“I had never really been that happy before,” Lincoln said.
Looking back, Feltwell said the interaction wasn’t all that surprising.
“I didn’t like the Karen part of it, but I did almost appreciate the Philly-ness of the situation,” he said.
“I learned how to deescalate the situation,” added Lincoln. “It all worked out in the end.”
The Feltwell family said they would love to get their original ball back, but the support they received from the community is the real home run.
