MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A driver was injured after a crash on Saturday morning along the westbound lanes of State Road 826 in Miami-Dade County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A white Dodge pickup truck collided with the center median concrete barrier and into a Toyota sedan near Northwest 47 Avenue, according to FHP.

“The crash caused the Dodge to overturn, and the Toyota to drive onto the grassy shoulder where it collided into a tree,” FHP Lt. Alex Camacho wrote in a statement.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded to the rollover crash shortly after 6:35 a.m.

“The driver of the Dodge was transported to Palmetto Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” Camacho wrote.
