Man dies after Brightline train collision in Broward

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. — A man died after a collision with a high-speed Brightline passenger train on Monday in Oakland Park.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies and Oakland Park Fire Rescue personnel responded to the 1200 block of Northeast 38 Street.

Fire rescue personnel pronounced the man dead, according to BSO. A yellow tarp covered the man’s body next to the train tracks.
