Introduction to First Proteins:
½ of a boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
homemade
2 cups homemade chicken stock, you might be able to find actual gelatinous chicken stock in your local supermarket
¼ of a rib of celery, sliced
¼ of an apple, peeled and sliced
¼ of a carrot, peeled and sliced
Combine all ingredients. Cook until very soft and the chicken is fully cooked. Allow the mixture to cool completely. Strain out the liquid but set it aside. Puree until very, very smooth; use the reserved cooking liquid little by little if your blender needs it.
