Warm & Spicy Crab Dip
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1¼ cups grated cheddar cheese (divided)
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup small diced yellow onion
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Old Bay
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat, picked through for shell fragments
your favorite chips or crackers, for serving
Preheat your oven to 350˚F.
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of the cheddar cheese (reserving the remaining ¼ cup for the top), sour cream, mayonnaise, yellow onion, hot sauce, Dijon mustard, Old Bay, Worcestershire and the cayenne powder. Mix thoroughly.
Fold in the crab gently and transfer the dip to a small baking dish.
Top with the rest of the cheese and broil until melted and golden. Serve with your favorite chips or crackers.
