Heat’s Kel’el Ware named to NBA’s All-Rookie Second Team

MIAMI – The NBA announced the 2024-2025 All-Rookie Team on Tuesday.

The Heat had one member on the list.

Center Kel’el Ware earned All-NBA Second Team.

The big man out of Indiana showed tremendous growth during his first season in the NBA.

Ware averaged 9.3 points and 7.4 rebounds a game.

Ware shot 55.4% from the field.

Ware was often paired with All-Star Bam Adebayo to form a strong front-court for the Heat.

Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle of the Spurs highlighted the All-Rookie First Team.
