Head coach Erik Spoelstra was asked about Ware on Saturday.

Spo didn’t hold back.

Spoelstra said, “Big part of this is he has to embrace and improve his professionalism, his consistency, his approach, every single day. He has to get better with that. It’s learning how to be a pro. I understand he was 20 last year, he’s 21.”

Spoelstra said that the talent is there but the professionalism and the consistency needs to improve.

He added, “Our standards are not going to change... he has to take ownership of it.”

Spoelstra said that Ware needs to make sure his body is ready to handle the rigors of playing his position.
