University of Miami Hurricanes team to travel out of MIA ahead of Fiesta Bowl in Arizona

University of Miami players travel in 6 buses to MIA

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The University of Miami Hurricanes team traveled in six buses on Monday from Coral Gables to Miami International Airport.

The team was traveling to Arizona in two flights. Their first flight to the Phoenix area was set for 2:45 p.m. and the second for 4:45 p.m.

“It has been, obviously, an unbelievable season for us,” Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck said. “We are just going to continue to work and focus on what we need to focus on.”

The team is preparing for the Fiesta Bowl, an annual American college football bowl game played since 1971, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

Local 10 News will be airing the Chasing A Championship special at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The game against the University of Mississippi Ole Miss Rebels is at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
