Panthers ink Jonah Gadjovich to 2-year extension

SUNRISE, Fla. — Off to a perfect 3-0-0 start, the Florida Panthers locked up another key piece of their roster Sunday, extending forward Jonah Gadjovich on a two-year deal that keeps him with the team through the 2027-28 season.

“Jonah has become an integral part of our locker room and a strong contributor for our group on the ice,” Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito said.

“He possesses a fearless attitude and unrelenting competitiveness, and we are excited for Jonah to continue with us in South Florida,” Zito continued.

Gadjovich, 27, has appeared in three games for Florida this season, registering one assist – with his six hits tied for the team lead.

Gadjovich was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks No. 55 overall in the 2017 NHL Draft.

Gadjovich’s Panthers begin their first road trip of the season Monday at 7 p.m. ET against the Philadelphia Flyers — a team Florida edged in a one-goal game on Oct. 9.
