MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Verizon says a software issue is disrupting wireless service for some customers in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
“We are aware of a software issue impacting wireless service for some customers. Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and solve the issue,” a Verizon spokesperson said in a statement Saturday.
The company urged customers to check its “Network Status” page for updates and said it is working to restore service as quickly as possible.
“We know how much people rely on Verizon and apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your patience,” the spokesperson added.
An estimated number of customers affected and a restoration timeline were not immediately available.
