Local 10 News This Week In South Florida Anchor Glenna Milberg interviews Dr. Barth Green, the president of Project Medishare for Haiti.

Green, who served 37 years in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps and retired as Lt. Colonel, described the Trump administration’s decision to end the temporary protected status for Haitians on Feb. 3 as “illogical.”

Green, the chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, said he has been unable to travel to Haiti after gang members took control of the trauma center there.
