September 17: More showers, storms expected for South Florida

Hit or miss showers will be possible over South Florida Wednesday evening.

As the night unfolds, a sporadic storm or two is not completely out of the question for Miami-Dade and Broward counties or the Keys.

Conditions will remain ripe for rain into Thursday.

Timing the unsettled weather is tricky.

However, forecast guidance suggests a round of storms will drench the region starting in the morning. That could be followed by scattered showers and storms during the afternoon. Localized flooding remains the primary concern.
