Sept. 21: Slow moving storms will continue to fizzle this evening

Scattered slow moving storms will continue to fizzle this evening. While we won’t rule out any isolated showers overnight, most of the heavy rainfall will come to an end. Lows will drop into the upper 70s. Deep tropical moisture is set to continue to build northward. This will make room for another invasion of showers and storms by the afternoon. Some storms could produce localized flooding. Depending on how early we see showers move in, our temperatures could reach the upper 80s.
