Oct. 15: Stray showers possible along South Florida’s East Coast

A stray shower or two may dampen parts of South Florida on Wednesday night, particularly along the east coast.

The rain comes as north-northeast winds, sustained at 5 to 10 mph, persist across Miami-Dade, Broward and the Florida Keys.

Overnight temperatures are forecast to dip into the low 70s.

Thursday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, with north-northeast winds possibly steering more showers from the Atlantic toward the east coast. Humidity levels will be near tolerable and are expected to become even more comfortable by the weekend.

High temperatures Thursday are expected to reach the mid-80s — seasonable for this time of year.
