Dec. 20: Sunday is first day of winter in South Florida

Sunday is the first day of winter; however, it will not feel like it.

Highs will once again soar into the lower 80s. As our winds move in out of the east, watch for a few passing showers to move onshore.

Nonetheless, most areas will be on the dry side on Sunday.

Monday is shaping up to be another pleasant day for holiday shopping. With highs in the lower 80s, sunshine and dry weather will persist
