Dec. 24: South Florida warms to near-record highs as much of U.S. faces wintry blast

While much of the Deep South and Northeast endures wintry weather and subzero temperatures this weekend, South Florida will continue to warm to near-record highs.

Sunday will be mostly dry, with southeast winds. Highs across South Florida will reach the mid-80s, and Miami could tie a record high of 84 degrees.

Plan for warm weather once again before a strong cold front arrives Monday. The front will bring a better chance of rain, and temperatures are expected to cool into the 40s and 50s by Tuesday morning.
