Hundreds join mother’s effort to save lives in memory of Sunrise teen

Hundreds run in honor of Aden Spence Perrry

Aden Spencer Perry was 17 years old when he drowned while trying to rescue an 18-year-old man on April 19, 2022, in Sunrise.

On Sunday, about 400 people joined Aden’s mother, Sarah Perry, who has been raising awareness about the importance of installing rescue rings.

Perry has been honoring her son’s memory through the “Aden’s Life Ring” program and the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund.
