MIAMI-DADE, Fla — Medics airlifted two children to a South Florida trauma center after a crash in Florida City “with reports of a pedestrian hit,” according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The crash happened just after 4 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Northwest 14th Street.
Additional details about the crash weren’t immediately available Thursday afternoon. According to MDFR, the victims, whose ages haven’t been released, were taken to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
Video from Sky 10 showed a damaged silver sedan in the street and a dirt bike on a tow truck.
Local 10 News has contacted Florida City police seeking additional information.
