Several South Florida restaurants were ordered shut by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation last week after inspectors found dead rodents, roaches, flies and filthy conditions.
Rodent activity played a major role in multiple closures. Here are the restaurants shut down and the violations inspectors documented.
All the places ordered shut were allowed to re-open following an ordered cleanup and re-inspection.

“Cooked/heated time/temperature control for safety food not cooled from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 70 degrees Fahrenheit within two hours and from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit within six hours. Cooked/heated time/temperature control for safety food not cooled from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit within 6 hours. 2 door glass slider: cooked scalloped potatoes (51F - Cooling). Per operator potatoes were cooked last night and have been cooling overnight. See stop sale.”
