MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A man was injured, and deputies placed two men in handcuffs after a driver crashed outside a house on Friday afternoon in Miami-Dade County, according to witnesses.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded to the area of Northwest 24 Avenue and 104 Street in the West Little River neighborhood.
“The owner of the house was in the garden cleaning,” a witness told Local 10 News in Spanish about the victim who was injured after a van with U-Haul markings crashed through the home’s wooden fence, according to witnesses.

Neighbors of the man injured said they saw him suffering from a head injury when he left in a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue ambulance.
The witnesses also reported seeing when deputies placed the two men in handcuffs in separate M-DSO marked patrol cars. M-DFR confirmed one was injured, but M-DSO had yet to confirm the arrests.
This is a developing story. Local 10 News Senior Assignment Editor Frine Gomez contributed to this report.
