DORAL, Fla. — A mother recently took her teenage daughter to a police station in Doral to report an 18-year-old man’s alleged crimes, records show.
The teenage girl was 12 to 14 years old when she was in a relationship with Hector Perez, who recorded a video of a sexual act without her consent and shared it with others without her consent, according to a Doral police officer’s arrest report.
After an investigation, police officers arrested Perez on Wednesday and accused him of lewd or lascivious battery and video voyeurism dissemination, records show.
Inmate records show Miami-Dade corrections booked Perez early Thursday morning at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
On Thursday evening, corrections held Perez, who was born in Venezuela and lives in Miami, without bond on a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold, records show.
Venezuelan migrants lost their Temporary Protected Status after a U.S. Supreme Court decision that allowed the termination of the 2021 and 2023 designations.
