MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — On Monday afternoon, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies described the deaths of a married couple with two children as a murder-suicide shooting.
Susana Rosales Koris, 42, and Ulises Cabrera Gonzalez, 44, died at the home they purchased about five years ago in Miami-Dade’s Richmond West neighborhood, according to deputies.
“They were very friendly. They would always have their garage door open when my husband and I would walk by. He would wave to everybody,” Angela Aybar, a neighbor, told Local 10 News.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel pronounced them dead at their house along Southwest 153rd Court, between 170th Terrace and 169th Lane, according to Detective Samantha Choon.
A medical examiner’s office truck was parked in front ot the home, as neighbors worried about their children and wondered what had gone wrong.
“We’re just praying for that family. We’re hoping that they can get through this -- especially through the holidays,” Aybar said.
Family members started a GoFundMe page to raise funds for the couple’s children, which are ages 13 and 11, per the page.
