1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Lauderhill

LAUDERHILL, Fla. — A man died, and another man was injured after a shooting on Monday afternoon in Lauderhill.

Police officers and fire rescue personnel responded to a report of a shooting at 5638 NW 27 Court.

Police officers found a man suffering on the sidewalk and a wounded man inside a home, according to Sgt. Parys Thomas, a spokesman for the Lauderhill Police Department.

Fire rescue rushed the two injured to the Broward Health Medical Center. A doctor pronounced one of the men dead, and the other was hospitalized in stable condition, according to Thomas.

Detectives asked anyone with information to call the Lauderhill Police Department at 954-497-4700.
