PLANTATION, Fla. — On Sunday, detectives were investigating a fatal shooting that frightened a hotel’s guests on Saturday night in Plantation.

Plantation police officers responded to a night shooting at the Hampton Inn, at 7801 SW 6 St., and found a man dead in the parking lot

A witness said he heard at least 10 gunshots and hid behind a bush. Another witness saw the man dead in the motel’s parking lot.
