About 200 U.S. service members have been wounded since Operation Epic Fury started on Feb. 28, and more than 180 have returned to duty after treatment, according to the U.S. Central Command on Monday.

It was an increase of about 60 more troops injured since CENTCOM’s report on March 10 of 140 injured, including 108 who had returned to duty after treatment.

“For 16 days, we have delivered overwhelming firepower deep into Iran,” U.S. Navy Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of CENTCOM, said on Monday.

According to the Pentagon, 13 U.S. service members have died during the war.

Six troops died after an attack on March 1 in Kuwait: Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Fla.; Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska; Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa; Maj. Jeffrey O’Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa; and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, California.

Sgt. Benjamin N. Pennington, 26, of Glendale, Ky., died on March 8 after he was injured during an attack on March 1, at Prince Sultan Air Base, in Saudi Arabia.

Six airmen died after a KC-135 crashed on March 12 in Iraq: Maj. John A. Klinner, 33, of Auburn, Alabama; Capt. Ariana G. Savino, 31, of Covington, Washington; Tech. Sgt. Ashley B. Pruitt, 34, of Bardstown, Kentucky; Capt. Seth R. Koval, 38, of Mooresville, Indiana; Capt. Curtis J. Angst, 30, of Wilmington, Ohio; and Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons, 28, of Columbus, Ohio.
