COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A cement truck slammed into Alligator Alley’s eastbound toll plaza Monday, leading to traffic congestion heading into South Florida, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP tweeted video of the crash Monday afternoon.
The crash led officials to close all but the SunPass lane and one regular toll lane.
Officials haven’t given any indication of whether anyone was hurt in the crash or when the toll plaza could fully reopen.
