HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Two men were injured early Saturday morning during a burglary at a house that to the dismay of neighbors is available for short rentals in Hollywood.
Hollywood Fire Rescue personnel responded to the house shortly before 3:40 a.m. at 741 North Southlake Drive.
The victims reported that a group of masked men opened the front door, hit their heads with guns, and stole their cell phones before fleeing, according to the Hollywood Police Department.
Police officers searched the area for the suspects. Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 to remain anonymous.
