Opa-locka orders nightly curfew during coronavirus pandemic

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. — Opa-locka commissioners passed an ordinance ordering a nightly curfew starting Saturday.

The order prohibits residents from being outside of their homes from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Opa-locka Police Department Chief James “JD” Dobson said police officers will only be allowing essential travel during the curfew.
