MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Police in Miami Beach are investigating a shooting in which one person has died.
According to police, officers responded to the 100 block of Sixth Street at 8:55 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of shots fired.
Ultimately, they were not able to locate a victim.
Then at 9:20 p.m., police were alerted to a gunshot wound victim nearby on Pine Tree Drive.
That person died at the scene, police said.
Authorities have not yet confirmed if the two incidents are connected.
