MacArthur Causeway shut down after driver reports being shot at by dirt bike rider

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Police are investigating what could have been a case of road rage that led to a shooting along the MacArthur Causeway. A driver called police to say that someone on a dirt bike had fired a shot into his car as he was traveling eastbound on the causeway.

Miami-Beach police received the call at 6:39 p.m. about the shooting and said the victim was calling from the 900 block of West Avenue.

According to police, the driver was grazed by the bullet and was not transported to the hospital.
